SkinDost("we", "us", "our") is operated by Dermis Medicos with registered address at Shop 13/603/1, Nehru Nagar, Rewa, Tehsil Huzur, Rewa, Madhya Pradesh 486001, India. We provide telemedicine consultations, AI-assisted skin screening, prescriptions, and pharmacy fulfilment through our website (skindost.com) and mobile application (app.skindost.in).
Because we handle health-related information, we take your privacy seriously. This policy describes what personal data we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, and your rights under Indian law.
Information we collect
- Account & identity: phone number (primary sign-in), name, age, sex, and — if you use Google sign-in — email and profile photo. We do not use passwords.
- Health information: photos of skin, hair, or nails; concerns and notes you enter; consultation chat, video/audio sessions; diagnoses and prescriptions from your doctor; progress check-in photos and care-plan preferences.
- Orders & delivery: delivery addresses, order history, and pharmacy fulfilment records.
- Payments: transaction amounts and references. Card and UPI details are entered with our payment partner (Razorpay); we do not store your full card number.
- Technical data: device type, push-notification token, IP address, and usage logs for security and reliability.
How we use your information
- Provide consultations, prescriptions, pharmacy orders, and care reminders.
- Run an AI-assisted skin read to support (not replace) your doctor's assessment.
- Verify your account via phone OTP and communicate about your care.
- Keep the service secure, prevent fraud, and improve quality.
- Meet legal, tax, and medical-record obligations.
We do not sell your personal data or use health photos for advertising.
AI processing
Your photos and structured concern details may be processed by an AI service to assist the dermatologist. Before such processing we remove personal identifiers (name, phone, and free-text you typed). AI output is a clinical aid for the doctor — not a diagnosis on its own.
Who we share information with
- The dermatologist you consult (to provide care).
- Our licensed pharmacy — Dermis Medicos (Form 20: 20/1939/41/2021, Form 21: 21/1940/41/2021) — and delivery partners, only to fulfil orders you place.
- Payment processors, cloud hosting, SMS/push providers under contract.
- Authorities where required by law or to protect safety.
Retention & security
Medical records are retained for periods required by applicable medical-record and tax law. Other data is kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymised on request, subject to those legal rules. We use encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging for sensitive operations.
Your rights (DPDP Act, 2023)

Children
Services are intended for adults. A minor may use SkinDost only with a parent or legal guardian's consent and supervision.
India only
Our telemedicine and pharmacy services are available only to users in India. Do not attempt to use them from outside India.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will change; material updates may also be notified in the app.
